Carlisle Events,
one of the world’s largest presenters of collector car, truck
and motorcycle entertainment, is the preferred auto show destination
for enthusiasts and collector car hobbyists worldwide!
For almost four decades, Carlisle Events has
been a staple in the automotive community. Our passion is legendary
to those who have made Carlisle, Pennsylvania their "Automotive
Hometown." We host or are part of 13 seasonal automotive events,
ten of which are held at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, two at the
Auburn Auction Park in Auburn, Indiana and a singular event at
the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. These
events draw enthusiasts from all over the world.
Carlisle Performance & Style
The
Cars, the People, the Excitement - Carlisle's slogan was on full
display this past weekend as part of Carlisle Performance & Style.
The event saw over 1,500 cars on grounds and approximately 20,000
enthusiasts enjoy a weekend filled with sunny weather and great
displays that had everyone asking for more!
Carlisle Performance & Style launched on Friday with its annual
kickoff party and first-ever partnership with McCann Business
School where nearly 100 cars cruised in to compete for trophies,
prizes and to help the Ronald McDonald House Charities of central
Pennsylvania.
As Friday transitioned into Saturday, the weekend excitement was
at a level not seen in years. The showfield was laced cars of
various makes and models, while throngs of adrenaline junkies
enjoyed autocross, drifting, the StarBoyz, burnouts, beauty and
great displays like the ICE House, Kickin' it Old Skool and the
LEDGlow neon contest.
Carlisle Import & Kit Nationals
Take
a trip around the world as part of the Carlisle Import & Kit Nationals,
May 18-20 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. In addition to the automotive
world tour, international flavor will be the focal point of the
weekend via concessions, live music and special displays.
The Passport Program returns
and allows you to win prizes by walking the grounds and enjoying
the cars aligned by country on the showfield. The international
festival is further enhanced by highlighting Italian rides and
to compliment the international feel on grounds, select concessionaires
will feature ethnic foods specific to the countries represented.
The weekend also plays host to special guests, displays, family
activities and more.
Sunday only will see the first-ever teen
driving school take place at the former International Automotive
Components (IAC) complex parking lot, located just off grounds.
The FREE school is designed to give “young drivers” a chance to
better themselves behind the wheel through real life situations.
Would be participants should contact William Sangrey, East Region
NCCC Chairman at 717-243-3955.
Shopping is also vital to the weekend
with the manufactures midway and swap meet. There is also an all
import car corral, kids activities and so much more! Admission
is $15 for a three-day pass, or $8 per day, with children age
8 and under admitted free.
